v490 has joined the party!

More good news tonight! CyanogenMod 14.1 is (almost) ready for LG G Pad 8 LTE (v490 model)!!!
Andrew and I have build a functional port for v490. Some stuff are not working yet, but you can already have a CyanogenMod installation in you device!
Also, Tap to Wake now works on v480 (and soon will work on v490, too). I think everything is OK for v480 model (infrared is still in my plans).
Want to flash it? Go to the link below and don’t forget to read instructions (specially v490 new users).

Não precisa do MD5. Pra entrar no TWRP, a combinação é assim:
Segure POWER+Vol down.
Quando aparecer o logo da LG, solte e segure de novo.
Vai aparecer uma tela perguntando se quer voltar pra confoguração de fábrica. Escolha Yes e o TWRP vai abrir.

Por enquanto não tem OTA. Só quando virar oficial.

Thank you very much for this amazing work you have done!! It was an unexpected gift after 2 years long! The only misbehave I have found is that the wifi doesn’t auto-connect when you close/open your screen. Is this a CyanogenMod feature that I have to adjust? It’s first experience with CyanogenMod and I can’t find any clue to fix the wifi. Other than that you have resurrected our tablet and brought it to an other era! Congrats and please keep supporting your rom if you have time and will!

I’m aware of the Wi-Fi problem (it happens on v480 too). New bugfixes will take a while to happen because I’m going for vacation 😀
I wish you will have great time on your vacations and have fun! We will wait with patience for your rom upgrades and help as much as possible with bugs submitting. But for first release your work is more than complete and awesome! You must give some lessons to the LG guys…
Some more bug reporting after a few days of use. There is problem with the touch responsiveness, especially while browsing, where you press somewhere a lot of times and nothing happens.
An other one is on Youtube app, the latest one, where it freezes everytime when you try to play a 720p60fps video. There is no problem with the simple 720p videos, only on them with 60fps.

Yes i came here for the same problem, the touch responsive is one big dissapointment for cm14.1. I tried also the browser and many times it crashes. That’s my bug report, hope to see you after your vacations, with a new update for v490.

Can you give me logcat when you experience this problem? I don’t have a v490 to check.
Can you explain me how to get logcat in order to give you some more info?
i saw on play store that there is an apk like Catlog. So i am gonna use it and get you the results.

I don’t have it. This TWRP binary was not compiled by me.
After a few days I can see that’s laggy when you want to do simple things. But I think that the main bugs are that as we said the touch is not responsive. You have to touch 2-3 times or more in order to do everything. And a small one that when you open WiFi you have to select again your router and then it works again.
I tried also with logcat. I don’t know if there is anything to help with. I am just gonna copy it here.

Hey! Just wait pleases few days and we upload new LineageOS ROM. There is many bugs fixed, even related to touch. Also the SIM function are working properly and much more… Just wait!!!

I just installed the rom is the first version since the last one does not leave me, at the moment it works quite well I think that the zip of the last update should be bad at least to me it will not let me install it I will try a few days and have that Works
Good after testing the first version because the second could not install it, had a small failure the wifi every time you turn on the tablet detects your network but does not connect, you have to give it to reconnect, as for the download I already downloaded it from your page and it did not work either
Wi-Fi is having autoconnect issues. Didn’t fix yet.
I’ve got an issue with the latest release, can’t even install it.
